I feel like this is a second home for me and my children. The director really has a big heart and takes care of parent and child alike. If its personal, work, family she will listen.

We are a provider of early education and child care services committed to bringing top-tier early education to the city of Toledo, Ohio. Our facility, formally Heatherdowns Early Learning Center, is located within Toledo’s innovative living community – located at 3542 Glendale Ave., Toledo, OH 43614.
Childcare Adventures Early Learning Center exists to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for infants, preschool and school age children. Our focus is to provide a stimulating early care and education experience which promotes each child’s social/emotional, physical and cognitive development. Our goal is to support children’s desire to be life-long learners.
Childcare Adventures and the community have some rebuilding to do! Our teachers and staff are here to support your family as children are getting back to school and parents getting back to work. Helping in learning and in socializing.
Students returning to school this fall will have schedules where they will have to be at home a few days a week. Childcare Adventures is here to support families with school-agers. Please call with child/ren schedules and we will try to accommodate. Space is very limited as per the new ratios.
We want you to feel comfortable in knowing that We have spent LOTS of time researching “Best Practices” regarding the health and safety of the children in our care. We take this very seriously and promise that we will continue to research and stay on top of any new information that becomes available.
Prior to the COVID19 outbreak, we operated under regulations set forth by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Many of these “Best Practices” are things that we have always done. Cleaning and hand washing will be done more frequently and all staff will be trained on any new regulations prior to reopening.
Thank you for trusting us to care for your child. We don’t take the responsibility lightly and will continue to love, teach and nurture your child every day.
